Seasoned marketing communications practitioner and journalist, he has over 22 years’ experience working with top flight Nigerian companies including The Guardian, TheNews magazine, The Quadrant Company, Econet Wireless Nigeria and Globacom where he was a principal manager in the brand communications department. Mr. Alumona was editor of TheNEWS for much of the last military era. He has a first degree in Mass Communications and a master’s degree in Marketing. Alumona is an alumnus of the Havard Business School and the Lagos Business School and a Fellow of the Bucerious Summer School on Global Governance, Hamburg, Germany.
